Lia is a champion of design collaboration and the studio environment at DiLeonardo. She is dedicated to fostering creative excellence from teams across all offices and works to mentor young designers in the areas of hospitality design. As a second generation partner in the firm she brings knowledge of the history and legacy of the firm coupled with a keen understanding of core design principles. Lia oversees design initiatives, client development and global marketing and branding as well as the social initiatives mission for DiLeonardo. Lia holds a Masters of Architecture from RISD as well as degrees in Fine arts and Literature from The University of Vermont. Lia is an associate member of AIA, NEWH and USGBC, the Alpha Ro Chi Society of Architects and RISD Department of Architecture Advisory Board for Publications and the Hotel Design Editorial Advisory Board. She has lived, worked and travelled extensively around the globe. When not at the office you’ll find her in her garden and her favorite color of the moment is any shade of green. |
