Bob is a mentor to young designers at DiLeonardo and throughout the industry. He believes that the design collaboration fostered in the studio environment feeds the collective creative mind and propels projects to excellence and encourages this in our offices worldwide.

Bob has over 25 years experience in the design industry servicing hospitality clients worldwide. He is involved with all aspects of the design process; from initial client contact through construction administration.

As Principal in the firm, Bob’s considerable experience working internationally offers a unique perspective on both design as well as business practices, which translates to innovation and creative problem solving for owners and operators. He brings comprehensive project management and innovative design team leadership to our clients and their projects.

Bob was awarded certification in architecture and interior design from Hall Institute. He has participated in numerous courses of study in drawing, painting, and design. Bob has used his talent and experience to serve as a faculty member at Hall Institute teaching architectural interior design, as well as served as a guest critic at Rhode Island School of Design and New England Institute of Technology.

Bob is an NCIDQ certified Interior Design professional and is a professional member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA). He also holds LEED Green Associate certification. He has worked and traveled extensively around the world and has lived in Dubai, U.A.E. where he worked on many of our projects in the region.

He is fixated on his hair.  It’s always changing and moving. “It can look like he hasn’t paid attention to it at all, but it’s always being taken into consideration and usually reflects his mood.”  He’s not really into astrology but he is a Leo, so he needs to be the center of attention and his “mane” helps to get him there...at least he thinks so.”
