Hammetts Wharf Hotel

Hammetts Hotel is a timeless example of nautical luxury that defines the Newport, RI area. Paying homage to the city’s seafaring and mercantile history in a relaxed atmosphere, the design conveys both quality and simplicity with its brick, wainscoting, and abundance of wood.

Taking a chance, the hotel opened at the height of the pandemic in June of 2020. Against all odds, the hotel was sold out in its first week of opening. The timing of the opening also allowed designers to make changes to the seating plans in public spaces to adhere to social distancing. Even the hand sanitizer bottles were chosen with care to match the standard of design throughout the hotel.
